But food markets are not just a great place to purchase fresh produce. Very often, they also have a great flair and are attractive go-to places for tourists. Hence, we thought this could be a great opportunity to look at food markets from around the globe and pick our 5 favorite ones. Here they are:

This market once nearly closed down because of large supermarkets taking away business.
