World Waterpark, Edmonton, Canada

The first ever indoor waterpark built in 1986 and today is the second largest in the world. The Blue Thunder wave pool, the largest wave pool in the world has had to be toned down as the waves were so large and powerful that they resulted in some injuries, with 4 extreme slides two of which are 25m high this waterpark although the oldest indoor park still keeps up with the modern day competition.

Noah's Ark, Wisconsin Dells, USA

Wisconsin Dells is billed as being the waterpark capital of the world, believe it or not! And Noah's Ark is the largest and the oldest waterpark in the US with 51 waterslides and various other attractions the park sits on an area of 70 acres and uses over 2 million gallons of water, with many other attractions on site including a go-kart track this park has to feature on any waterpark enthusiasts bucket list.

Part of the Atlantis the Palm hotel complex, Dubai's best waterpark has its own marine life aquarium incorporated into its rides, zip line over shark-infested pools or swim with dolphins and rays, or simply enjoy the abundance of slides and attractions that make this park one of the best in the middle east.

Siam Park, Adeje, Teneriffe

This 46-acre park on the island of Tenerife claims to be the best in Europe, with further plans to incorporate a roller coaster. The park has a Thai theme throughout and has over 20 Thai style buildings dotted around the site the largest collection outside of Thailand with Thai restaurants and even a Thai floating market, who needs to fly to Thailand for a taste of the orient when it's right here on your doorstep in Europe.

Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Orlando, Florida, USA

Of course, we had to include a Disney park in our list and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park has to be their best in our opinion, open all year round with heated water areas apart from the ice cave the snowy ski slope setting makes for a cool day out, epect the crowds here though as it is one of the most popular parks in the world.
